Your listings go stale after 7 days

Every price and stock figure you upload is stamped with the date it arrived. After 7 days without a fresh upload, those listings are flagged stale.

The reason is simple: a dead price is worse than no price. A customer who buys at a number you stopped honouring a month ago is a refund, an argument, and a review — and a workshop that quotes their customer off your stale figure has the same problem one step removed.

How often to upload

Whatever your real update cadence is — but at least weekly.

If you already run a daily or weekly export from your own system, upload that. Re-uploading the same sheet is safe: it updates your existing listings rather than duplicating them, so there is no penalty for uploading more often than your prices actually change.

If your prices genuinely move every day, upload every day. If they move quarterly, you still need a weekly upload to reset the clock.

Watching for stale listings

Your offers table shows a Stale or Fresh badge per listing. Sort by it before you assume your catalog is live.

Nothing re-uploads for you

There is no automatic recovery today. A stale listing stays stale until you upload again — nobody is quietly fixing it in the background, and we would rather tell you that than let you assume otherwise.

If a regular upload slot would help — a reminder, a recurring day — tell us.

The ±80% price guard

If a price moves more than 80% up or down from what you last uploaded, that row is held rather than applied.

This is a typo guard, and it has caught real ones — a missing decimal point turning AED 45 into AED 4,500. It is not a limit on what you may charge.

If the change is genuine — a supplier price collapse, a currency change, a clearance — contact us and we will apply it. Uploading it repeatedly will not get it through.

What stale does and does not do

• Stale listings are flagged, so we and you can see them.
• A stale listing cannot be ordered wholesale by a workshop — that check is enforced at the moment an order is placed.
• Stale listings are not automatically hidden from customers today. This is the honest statement of where the platform is: the flag is the mechanism, not an automatic takedown.

Which is the real reason to keep uploading. The badge protects you from selling at a dead price only if someone acts on it — and the fastest person to act is you.
