Your public page & QR

Once your business is registered, it gets a public page at app.markabaai.com/p/your-name.

Anyone can open it — no account, no sign-in. It shows your specialties, your rating, your service menu, your reviews, and any offers you have posted.

Find it in the Provider Portal under the Showcase & Marketing tab, which also gives you a preview of exactly what a visitor sees.

Your page address never changes

Your web address is fixed when your listing is created and stays the same even if you later change your business name. That is on purpose — a QR code you printed or a link you sent last year keeps working forever.

Until your business is registered, the page does not exist publicly. There is no half-published state.

Three ways to share it

From the Showcase tab:

  • Copy booking link — paste it into a WhatsApp status, an Instagram bio, a Google listing, an invoice.
  • Share on WhatsApp — opens WhatsApp with the link ready to send.
  • Printable QR code — the one worth doing on day one. Print it, put it on the counter, the door, or the back of your card. Someone scans it and books you without typing anything.

Posting your own offers

You can publish your own promotions on your page, from the same tab. Each one is either:

  • an uploaded image — a poster, a price list, a photo of the work; or
  • a link to one of your Instagram posts.

One or the other, not both in the same offer.

Offers go live immediately — there is no approval queue and nobody reviews them first. That is trust placed in you, so keep them accurate; a stale "50% off" you forgot about is a customer argument at the counter.

Ordering and expiry

  • Use the up and down arrows to set the order your offers appear in.
  • Set Valid through on anything time-limited. The offer stops showing to customers at the end of that day — "valid through today" really does mean all of today.
  • An expired offer stays visible to you in the portal, marked Expired, so you can see why it stopped showing rather than wondering where it went. Delete it or give it a new date.

A business with live offers gets an Offers badge on its card in search results, which is worth having.

Customers who ask a question instead of booking

Your page has an enquiry option. A customer with a vague problem — a noise, a warning light, something they cannot name — can send you a question and their number instead of booking a slot. The message reaches your WhatsApp and you reply directly.

This exists because those customers were previously booking a bay they did not really want, just to ask a question. An enquiry reserves no slot, so it costs you nothing and does not block a paying job.

"Already booked?"

Every public page carries an Already booked? link, so a customer who booked as a guest can check their status with their code and phone number. You do not need to do anything with it — it is there so that people stop calling you to ask whether their booking went through.
